Sunday Monday! (<– Meant to post this yesterday!) Let’s take a look at how active I was this week…
AM: 5.05 mile run – This run felt really good. I felt like I could’ve kept going. Haven’t felt that good during a run in quite some time. Unfortunately, time kept me from being able to be Forrest Gump.
Strength: EMOM (every minute on the minute) 12 minutes – 3 push presses (I did my last 3 sets of 3 at 70#)
METCON: 8 min AMRAP (as many rounds as possible) – 5 burpee box jumps (20″ box) & 15 wallballs (with 14# medball) – 4 + 5 (I got through 4 full rounds + 5 burpee box jumps) Rx’d
8 minutes to work on handstand holds or walks
EMOM 12 minutes – 10 seconds of work 50 seconds of restOdd minutes: pushups (7,8,8,9,8,8)
Even minutes: ring dips (6,5,5,5,4,5)
Attended the Oly (Olympic Lifting) class that our box holds every Wednesday evening. Its really focuses on technique. There are no METCONs or crazy things. Just really focusing on how to do the lifts properly.
CrossFit: Partner Beach WOD!
Go out to sea turtle in the ocean (huge inflatable turtle held by a cement block)
50 air squats total (while one partner works, the other holds a hollow body)
50 pushups total (same as above)
Out to turtle
Partner drag (one partner drags the other about 100 feet, turn around and swap places)
Throw a bocce ball to a target, if missed, do 10 burpees
